After spending a lot of time together and developing romantic feelings for each other, Ruby and Sapphire fuse again, and Garnet is accepted into the Crystal Gems. Because of this, Ruby was to be shattered for fusing with the high ranking Sapphire, but the two manage to getaway. Ruby and Sapphire assisted Blue Diamond and fought against the rebels, but to save Sapphire from Pearl, Ruby accidentally fused with her, an act that is disgusting to Homeworld Gems. Later on, Blue Diamond established her court on Earth intending to shatter Rose and Pearl for their rebellion. At the Ancient Sky Arena, Pearl familiarized herself with the human concept of being a knight and using swords. Rose explained to Pearl that by joining her, they could never go home, and if they were caught, they would be killed, which Pearl accepted. Pink Diamond (as Rose Quartz) and her Pearl rebelled, founding the Crystal Gems. Rose Quartz would be used to start a rebellion in an attempt to save the Earth, and nobody would know that it was Pink Diamond behind it all. Pink attempted to reason with the other Diamonds as to why they could not complete the colony, but when they did not listen, Pink created an alter-ego named Rose Quartz through shape-shifting. She grew fascinated by humans and other lifeforms and knew that if the colony was completed, the Kindergartens would drain all of the life force from the Earth and destroy all life that lived there.
The Prime Kindergarten and other structures were successfully established, but Pink soon discovered the life that lived on Earth. Pink chose Earth to be her colony, and like any other Diamond, she sent her Gems to the planet to begin building structures and Kindergartens. Pink Diamond had begged the other Diamonds for a colony of her own until she was finally allowed to have one. Due to Gems lacking any sex organs, Rose shapeshifted a womb for her son to be born from and died due to passing on her gem to him. The current members are Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, Steven, Peridot, Connie, Bismuth, and Lapis Lazuli. All members of the group are part of an alien race known as "Gems".
MultiVersus could greatly benefit from Jasper's inclusion, and that of other Crystal Gems.The Crystal Gems were formed about 5,000 years ago by Rose Quartz to protect Earth from magical threats. There's also the possibility of fusing with Lapis Lazuli to become Malachite, one of the most deadly and toxic fusions in the series. Alternatively, she could also use a more powerful roller dash, or call down a barrage of blasts from a Gem ship. Transforming into her corrupted form to dash into opponents would be a great finishing move for her, and would be something that fans would love to use. Jasper's final attack has the potential to be the strongest of all the Crystal Gems. Delivering powerful punches and headbutts, or jumping into the air and stomping on her opponents, could all be powerful moves in her arsenal. Grappling and throwing, if included in MultiVersus, have the potential to be a major part of her playstyle. She could use her helmet to launch opponents away, and her rolling dash to bowl them over. She could be a tank, slow moving but able to take a great deal of damage, and focused on launching opponents with meteor attacks. Even if she were to be added later as DLC in the Smash Bros-like fighting game, she could become one of the strongest fighters in the game. Jasper has the potential to be a true powerhouse.

Ultimate Sora Update 13.0.0's Biggest Fighter Nerfs & Buffs Her ability to create holographic clones of herself could prove to be an interesting mechanic. Her inclusion could set apart MultiVersus as not just another copy of Super Smash Bros. She might also be able to charge her laser in order to make it more powerful, or fire small shots in order to stun enemies and stop them from advancing. Her spear and laser blasts have the potential to make her versatile and adaptable to a wide range of play styles. If Pearl were to be included in MultiVersus, she could be a strategic fighter with a focus on executing combo moves and taking advantage of invisibility frames. If MultiVersus gets more Steven Universe characters, any fan would be overjoyed to see her join the game. Throughout the series, fans saw her grapple with her identity and past trauma. She fought alongside Garnet and Rose Quartz to defend Earth from the Diamond Authority, and later, with both of them and Amethyst to gather the corrupted Gems at the temple. Pearl is one of the classic Crystal Gems, and also one of the most iconic.
